Education Through Play…

Three to Fifteen months
During the initial stages we will always follow the routine set by each individual child allowing them to feed, rest and play when they require.

Two to Eight Years
Children in this age group are encouraged to take part in all activities.

Activities
Exploring, Stories, Puppet Show, Outdoor play, Trampoline, Sports, Gardening, Free play (playing and working at their own pace), Acting/Creative, Dance, Art, Cooking, Music and movement, Dressing up/Role play, Treasure Basket and Trips.

Ad-hoc activities do occur should a child express a interest in something that day or bring an item in to show us, like a postcard. Educational activites are fully integrated into our daily routines, for example looking at and recording the weather, colours, shapes, numbers and letters.

A natural balance of play and designed activities.
