Brickle End will provide an environment which is rich in opportunities for each child to explore his/her identity and build self esteem. Free from pre: conceived expectations and from attitudes which would limit development.

The child is affirmed as an individual. The contribution of each child is valued with regard to gender, disability, ethnicity, race, religion and origin. All children have opportunities to participate in a broad range of learning.

Children have access to books and toys which provide positive images and examples of the diversity of life in our society. Racist and discriminatory remarks or behaviour from children and adults will not be tolerated.

Children are made to feel good about themselves and others, by celebrating the differences which make us all unique individuals.
